Fillo is designed to be a privacy-first tool. To function, the extension interacts with your data in the following ways:
- Form Data: Fillo saves the data you explicitly choose to save into “Profiles” (such as names, emails, addresses, and custom fields).
- Extension Settings: User preferences, statistics, activity logs, and shortcut configurations are saved locally.
3. Where Your Data is Stored
By default, all your data remains locally on your device within your browser’s local storage. We do not have access to your saved profiles.
4. Browser Permissions Explained
Fillo requires certain permissions to operate securely and effectively:
activeTab/ Access to web pages: Required to detect form fields on the current page you are visiting so Fillo can auto-fill them upon your request.storage: Required to save your profiles, settings, and statistics locally in your browser.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, or distribute your personal information to third parties. Our built-in “Export (No Sensitive)” feature allows you to safely share templates without exposing your private data.
